Finding Success

This success I am about to share is based on my online health and fitness business but it truly can be applied in any successful goal you are looking to achieve.

What do I attribute to my success in this amazing business?

Here are my top 5 reasons why I believe I have done so well.

  1. Drive and Self-Motivation

You have to have drive to help you through all the obstacles that will come your way. There are so many ups and downs in succeeding in your own business and so many opinions that you will hear from many people. You must push through them and persevere. This is also where self-motivation comes into play. You must get up each and every day and tackle your to do list and put in the work. You are your own boss so it is easy on some days to just not work, but you have to be self-motivated to get your work done. Make a list and schedule it into your day. To be super successful, this should be at least 2-3 hours per day.

  1. Find Mentors and seek advice

From day one, I have figured out who has been successful in this business and I would take notes and follow what they do. I have success partners in people that do better in me and have goals as me to bounce ideas around and be accountable to each other.

  1. Support of a spouse or someone else you are close to and trust

This has been huge. If your spouse doesn’t support you, again find that mentor/success partner. Once you begin to see more success, chances are your spouse/significant other will come around and want to be part of your success and help with the business plan. My husband has been great to bounce ideas around and we are complete opposites, so he has a different view in what we are trying to accomplish. We are on the same page, but things jump out differently to him. We are a true team in our online health and fitness business and complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

  1. Have a personal growth plan

To get better and be better, you must learn and grow daily. I quickly realized that if I wanted to end the trend of credit card debt and even filing bankruptcy, I needed a new personal growth plan. My suggestion here is to find the right mentor you connect with and agree with their thought processes and ideas. Some of my personal growth mentors are people like: Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Chalene Johnson, John C. Maxwell, Darren Hardy, and Dave Ramsey. Just to name a few!

  1. Be willing to invest in me and my team and throw away the EXCUSES

This one speaks for itself. Invest in growing and learning. Invest and believe that you will succeed and throw away the excuses of “I have no time” “I am tired” “I have no money”

These excuses are not doing you any good! You must have BELIEF and PASSION for what you are working on achieving. You also must have a strong WHY. WHY are you choosing this path? Why will you rise to the top? This clear and powerful WHY will get you through the most difficult times!

Good Luck in your adventures. I would love to hear about them!
